Vehicle Detail
1965 International Scout 4X4 (A Texas Safari toy) I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle. This is one of those items: We received this beautiful little Scout from one of our customers in Cibolo, Texas. The truck is equipped with many extras including two front seats for a safari type hunting. There are also many accessories that will be bolted in the back per pictures. A tow bar also goes with the Scout so you can pull it with your vehicle. The Scout is fairly solid and there is no rust through or anything like that. It also has a wench in the front. The Scout was sitting for several years. We cleaned the gas tank, rebuilt the carburetors, changed the oil and filter, and added fresh gas and a battery, and the little Scout came to life. The engine is very healthy and strong and the Scout runs very well, but it needs a complete brake job. The engine sounds beautiful. It runs very well. But it needs a complete brake job as you cannot stop it. The clutch mater cylinder also leaks. The Scout comes the way you see it in the pictures with all the accessories. It does not have any doors. The Scout is a Texas vehicle and will be sold with a clear Texas title. So bring your trailer and we will help you load it up. Please come and see it in person. We can deliver to a reasonable distance in Texas for a reasonable cost. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Remember that this classic Scout is 48 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The Scout will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. For pricing regarding classical automobiles/bikes you can refer to www.nadaguides.com We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN BUILDING A BETTER EXPERIENCE ONE CUSTOMER/FRIEND AT A TIME
