This auction is for a 1950 Pontiac Silver Streak Two Door . Just out of lengthy storage. This is pretty much a good original car that with minor finishing touches will be ready for summer driving. The car is an original Flat Head 6 Cylinder with Three Speed Manual Trans. The engine absolutely purrs.Excellant oil pressure. Transmission shifts excellent, nice smooth clutch.Absolutely no play in the steering.Nice and dry underneath No leaks.Has had recent brake work and also new starter, correct new 6 volt battery, fuel pump and filter, anti-freeze and tires. Good quiet exhaust. Last oil change sticker shows 45,005 miles. Car now has 46,549 which we believe are actual. We do not have documentation but judgeing by a lot of details I believe it is real. There were old nylon seat covers on the front seat. When we removed them and the upholstery was in nice shape. Back seat does have some staining but could probably be cleaned up nicer. Original headliner still intact. Carpets were old so we removed them. Beautiful original non cracked steering wheel. Has traffic light view finder as it has an original sun visor. A nice set of sombrero hub caps.Radio delete. All gages work The body on the car is in real decent shape for the year. There is some minor rust spots on the floor pan but nothing real serious. Frame is in great solid condition. A couple of the under body braces have a small rust spot here and there. Of course the car is 63 years old so thats to be expected. Over all 98% solid. There is some issues with the grill area. It is pitted and a spot is rusted by the parking light area passenger side. Also the parking light bezel and lens is missing from that side. The car is currently running on a 5 gallon boat tank we installed in the trunk. We have the original fuel tank which has been cleaned and painted but needs to be re-installed. You will need to purchase a pair of tank straps and hardware. Bumpers are good solid cores to re-chrome.Included is the fuel tank, battery hold down, and factory jack. Over all this is a good affordable old car that would be great to own and drive as it is or fix it to your liking.
