Careful to not let this 1979 jewel get away ! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This BEAUTY has only had two owners since it was brand new, the original owner sold it in 2011 to the guy we bought it from. It only has 135,661 ORIGINAL MILES !! We have the ORIGINAL owner's manual, and maintenance records from the original owner he kept a record of every oil change, service and part bought for that truck. Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking truck. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and is sound and in very nice shape. It is a DRY - SOLID - California truck all its life. We found only normal light surface rust underneath, all the cab supports, floor pans and bed, had no rust damage, just what you would expect from low mile dry weather driving, WOW what a find. This Chevy "BIG 10" has the original STRONG - OPTIONAL "LF8" - Torque Monster Big Block 454 CID V8 in it and it is running very well. Sounds good too with the new stock style Flomaster exhaust system !! Everything under the hood is Original except the HD Aluminum Radiator and the new A/C compressor converted to R134. The engine is backed by a Heavy Duty three speed automatic that functions very well. The Blue interior is VERY NICE and has the OPTIONAL "Silverado" trim level including a NICE Original Blue folding bench seat with new upholstery, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE new dash pad cap, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, NICE new sun visors, NICE Original door panels, nice new carpet and a NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel. The truck has the Original AM Radio and it is working. This truck is nicely equipped including power steering, factory heavy duty power Disc brakes, factory gauge package, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, dual factory fuel tanks, original dual Chrome folding exterior mirrors, good heater and defroster and 3 point seat belts, comfort tilt steering column, Soft ray tinted glass, factory sliding rear window, Ice cold factory A/C, Cruise Control, and original factory Rally Wheels, Original jack, handle and lug wrench, with factory Cargo Lamp. This is one NICE Original 79 Chevrolet Silverado "Big 10" heavy 1/2 ton pickup and as you can see in the pictures it was well cared for and is BEAUTIFUL !! Careful to not let this 1979 jewel get away ! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This BEAUTY has only had two owners since it was brand new, the original owner sold it in 2011 to the guy we bought it from. It only has 135,661 ORIGINAL MILES !! We have the ORIGINAL owner's manual, and maintenance records from the original owner he kept a record of every oil change, service and part bought for that truck. Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking truck. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and is sound and in very nice shape. It is a DRY - SOLID - California truck all its life. We found only normal light surface rust underneath, all the cab supports, floor pans and bed, had no rust damage, just what you would expect from low mile dry weather driving, WOW what a find.
This Chevy "BIG 10" has the original STRONG - OPTIONAL "LF8" - Torque Monster Big Block 454 CID V8 in it and it is running very well. Sounds good too with the new stock style Flomaster exhaust system !! Everything under the hood is Original except the HD Aluminum Radiator and the new A/C compressor converted to R134. The engine is backed by a Heavy Duty three speed automatic that functions very well. The Blue interior is VERY NICE and has the OPTIONAL "Silverado" trim level including a NICE Original Blue folding bench seat with new upholstery, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE new dash pad cap, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, NICE new sun visors, NICE Original door panels, nice new carpet and a NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel. The truck has the Original AM Radio and it is working. This truck is nicely equipped including power steering, factory heavy duty power Disc brakes, factory gauge package, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, dual factory fuel tanks, original dual Chrome folding exterior mirrors, good heater and defroster and 3 point seat belts, comfort tilt steering column, Soft ray tinted glass, factory sliding rear window, Ice cold factory A/C, Cruise Control, and original factory Rally Wheels, Original jack, handle and lug wrench, with factory Cargo Lamp. This truck is a great running and wonderful looking Pickup. This 79 Chevrolet Silverado "Big 10" heavy 1/2 ton pickup has sharp looks and TONS of power as well ! This truck has a great ride, it is smooth and quiet and really rides as nice as any new truck !! I was amazed at what a joy it was to drive this truck. I drove this truck around for a week back and forth to work and running errands and it doesn’t pull or wonder even when applying the brakes and drives down the freeway at 75 MPH no problem. I mean this truck doesn’t have a squeak or rattle even when going over bumps. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and driveline seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system.
This Pickup is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in wonderful condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a clean example of a sought after and hard to find Classic truck that is not seen at every stoplight for sure.
