Vehicle Detail

86, and only been kissed ! One of the nicest 1986 Honda Rebels around! You won't have to pay $4000.00 with tax to drive a new one, when this 1986 high quality used bike is for sale!I'll try to tell you all that I can. This is my wifes bike. Not a thing wrong with it, except that she has graduated to a new larger bike. We searched long and hard before we found this one four years ago. It is a three owner bike, who's first two owners worked together. As far as I can tell, it's never been beat or dropped. All the paint appears to be original with only minuscule marks and scratches. All the decals are intact and original. The times we checked its mileage, it came in at about 98MPG.Last year, i put new tires on her, as well as a new battery. These tires have less than 500 miles on them, were speed balanced at a harley dealership, and have a much better ride than the originals did. This season, I replaced the fuel tank shut off. Since they eventually wear out. I didn't want anyone to experience any future problems that could be avoided now. When I pulled off the tank to do this, I found an absolute clean, unmolested machine, that I wiped down with some End Dust, and that was it!The bike starts right up, and runs great! It's always been garage stored, and covered for the winter. Now here is the real beauty of it. You can buy a new one and loose $2000. in the first year if you like, or you can buy this one, ride it for two years, and sell it for what you paid for it.Okay, now the bad parts:Yes it is a used bike. It does show a little bit of road wear on the bottom of the front fork tubes. Honda clear coated these from the factory. The aluminum is fine, and you can make them new again for a Saturday project if you really want. The Driver's seat had a small repair done to it on one of the buttons, which barely shows, and seems to be holding up.To end on a positive note, no one can believe this is a 1986.When we go to bike nights, people look at the original decals and warning stickers, and are totally puzzled.Any serious buyer who wants to come to my house in Berea Ohio, may check her out first, and ride it (proof of license and insurance please)In short, this bike makes for a great financial decision.Happy Bidding for all who are serious buyers, and want to enjoy. This little bike will make you a proud owner some day.I do have to hold strong to the $250.00 deposit in 24hrs. though. ( i've been stung before, and don't want legit buyers to get hurt either) On Apr-04-13 at 02:39:39 PDT, seller added the following information: 04/04/13 Thought I'd let everyone know. I re installed the original fuel shut off on the bike. I had a couple of ladies looking at it last night, and they couldn't figure out where the off position was.The markings on the aftermarket part seemed Asian, and hard to figure out. I put thread sealant on the old one before re installing it and it seems fine.
