1970 Triumph Bonneville 650 T120R, Stored Since 1986 This is a very unmolested bike that I bought as part of a package from an estate sale in Burbank California last year. It had been sitting in a dry garage with collector cars and the last time it had plates for the street was in 1986. It still displays the 1986 registration tag. The 1970 T120R is arguably the best of the Bonnevilles. It has had one repaint and looks great but not in the correct color scheme as you can see. All parts except the handlebars appear to be original to the bike. Horns, carbs, exhaust, side and center stands, rubber parts and seat all appear to be factory original items. We had the carbs rebuilt, new fuel, new battery and it started second kick. It runs very well with no smoke or rattles. Valves were adjusted. The transmission is smooth and the clutch and brakes are good. The mileage is 11,941. This bike would be super to repaint to factory style and simply preserve the rest of the bike or just ride it as is. It does need tires desperately and the original Dunlops are readily available. I have a beautiful factory workshop manual, copies of the California original pink slip, clear title in my name and current California registration with the original blue/yellow plates from the 70’s. I always wanted one of these bikes since high school but I am not a rider and it is just sitting in my shop as art instead of being ridden.
