I am selling my 1997 Lexus SC300 5 speed manual transmission. If you have done any research on these cars you probably know that 1997 was the last year they made manual transmission SC300's, and the first year for the refreshed body style. Lexus only produced 120 manual SC300's in 1997 which means this car is super rare. If you do a search in the US you will see that there is NO other 97 5 speec SC300's for sale. My car is in really good condition, and you should not let the high mileage scare you. Most of those miles are the result of a daily commute of about 80 miles each day for about 7 or 8 years. It runs, drives and handles perfectly. Overall it is in pretty good cosmetic condition, with no real flaws. The green paint was fading so it was resprayed last year, and the paint job turned out pretty good. The car has a clear title. The interior is in above average condition for this year, with the only flaw being the driver side leather seat having some wear.. The rest of the interior is almost perfect. Even the original butterfly cupholder still works perfectly. All mechanical and electrical features function as expected including the power mooroof, power and memory seats, power antena, 12 disc changer, etc. The secondary catalytic converter was clogged, so I had that removed. This is causing the car to throw a O2 sensor code, which means the check engine light is on. This does not have any negative effects on the car, but I need to disclose it. This car is absolutely fantastic, and I'm hoping it goes to a new owner who appreciates it as much as I do. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have. Thanks!
