Welcome. You are bidding on a 1971 Ford F250 4x4 Highboy Truck. This truck comes with a clean California title, some recent maintenance records and receipts. It was made in the San Jose plant and has lived in Northern California its life. It has been well cared for and has never been in an accident. This truck currently resides at a second vacation home in the Amador Foothills that has been used sparingly. Exterior: This car still retains its original factory 2 tone paint. The paint is in very presentable shape; however it is oxidized on the hood from the warm California sun. There is NO rust or corrosion on the body. In addition this truck has never been in an accident. This is a very solid chassis. Interior: The interior of this truck is also very original. It still has its original paint dash, gauges, and headliner. All of the gauges are in good working order, however the speedometer does not work. Engine/Transmission: This truck has the very powerful 360/390 V8. The engine starts right up and sounds great with its factory dual exhaust. This car is fitted with the very desirable 4spd manual transmission. The 2 gear is out on this car as it will not go into this gear. The truck shifts into all of the other gears smoothly. This car was fitted with 4x4 from the factory and it too is in very good working order. It has a divorce transfer case. Wheels/Suspension: The suspension feels great and this truck is solid. The tires are a BF Goodrinch that are in decent shape. This truck has the rare rear sway bar option. What the truck needs: -Driver side door handle needs to be lubricated. -2nd gear in the transmission -Carb may need to be cleaned (sometimes hard to start after sitting long periods, but with some starting fluid to prime the car will start right up. -Speedometer is not currently working. Overall. This is an excellent chance to own a factory Ford F250 Highboy. This truck would make a great daily driver, restoration candidate or work truck.
