Ford F150 Air Condition Low Miles Low Reserve Low Reserve Low Reserve Up for auction we have a 1979 Ford F150 long bed,This little truck has only had one owner since new and it was only driven by an older gentleman, i purchased the truck from his daughter, She had given the truck to him as a present in 1979. I have owned and driven the truck for a few month now still under her name…it is a great little truck, at some point in its life it was repainted to original blue but when i got it paint was faded and had some rust on the rain gutters, I cut them smooth and welded in some sheet metal making the side of the cab smoother looking, i went ahead and painted the roof white,also painted the rims and bumpers white also to match the rest of the truck..to achieve the flat blue paint i completely sanded the truck evenly giving it the affect of mother nature…the tire still have 99% life on them, i took them of some Tahoe wheels that i had…Motor is a 302 V8 that runs strong only 51k miles, transmission is a C4 that shifts and operates as it should and the nicest thing is the truck has the all Popular 9inch ford rear end….inside it looks like an LMC original style vinyl seat was redone accompanied by a new dash cover,oh cant forget another great thing about this little truck A/C works great…yes air-condition is a must for those hot summer days, i also added chrome wheel moldings and brand new side lights amber and red, all the t lights work fine as they should, headliner was also redone, This truck is in 100% operating condition, this truck can go both ways as great starting point for a street rod truck or as a daily driver work truck, You be the judge, the only issue with this truck is a little bit of rust where the bed floor meets the bed front…i took a close up picture, its right under the tool box….not a big deal….as you can see in the picture this truck speaks for its self.
