Vehicle Detail

2002 Camaro Z28 / SS Convertible the final year of the 4th generation Camaro. Productions numbers where down and this would be the end for the Camaro. If you are not familiar with SLP engineering they where the company GM hired to transform a Z/28 into a Super Sport they are still in business today for documentation or information on your car. SLP had a separate window stick that got added to the sale price. SLP Camaros are the Yenko, Nickey, Berger, Shelby of our day. General Motors had a long-standing relationship with this independent tuner company, SLP. They ship newly built Z/28s to SLP for further performance modifications. They warranty all of the work performed by SLP in the same way that Ford did with Shelby. All of this was done through the dealerships. By now GM perfected the Camaro. If you have ever had the chance to drive one it handles like a Corvette they are amazing to drive. In 2002 the SS Camaros came with the same under rated 325 HP LS1 motor that the Corvette did. Unfortunately the Camaro does get over shadowed by the Corvette and gets over looked for its performance. This is a super powerful car that has razor edge steering. No disappointments with this one you will be impressed. This particular car has the rare and expensive center exhaust system. SLP only used this exhaust system for the first three months of production it boosted the LS1 325HP to 345HP. Take a look at the SLP options. I have all they original documentation. Window stickers, sales receipts, manuals, ect. In 2002 you would pay the window sticker price. There was no negotiating on these rare Camaro's. Only 1556 Convertibles with automatics where made. That equates to only 30 cars per state very few are available. They should increase in value over the next few years. GM dealerships only received 1-2 each of these SS SLP Convertibles. Most dealership owners purchased them for their self. This survivor was purchased from the original owner. The original owner drove the car one summer. When I received the car the 2003 inspection sticker was still on the windshield. Never any type of repair. Once in awhile you get lucky. This car speaks for itself like new with only approximately 5100 miles. This car has been mostly stored and babied its whole life. Fair weather car only. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. I maintain a 100% positive feedback on Ebay and intend to keep it that way. I do not want any unhappy bidders. Shipping costs & arrangements will be the winning bidder's responsibility. All payments must clear the bank before the car will be released. My name is Derrick for details you may contact me by phone 585-704-3347Leave me a voice mail and i will return the call thanks for looking. On Mar-27-13 at 13:15:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to thanks everyone for the interest in the Camaro.Sorry for the delay I finally had a chance to get to the car.
