Vehicle Detail
Here is an almost perfect 63 Corvair convertible. It was bought new in San Jose, Ca by a young lady and brought back to Wisconsin in the mid to late 60's .Do to an untimely death of the young lady it was stored for many years at her folks place. We bought it from the family in 2005. The family had spruced it up by new paint, top and I beleive new carpeting. The rest of the interior is original so we were told. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate it at 9.5. You can see in pics the front seats have sheep skin on them (very nice on hot days with black seats) The seats themselves are perfect The front seats have had seat belts installed. The car has placed in many shows. (the convertible class is a tough class) It is definitely a head turner. The body is in perfect condition, zero rust and or bondo nice straight lines. Everything is complete and original nothing to my knowledge is missing. ( It does have an after market radio in it but not butchered so can recieve an orignal am radio also the steering wheel and wheels are aftermarket a very nice addition. The miles we were told is original, the Dad swears by it. The speedo is showing right now -16687- and has alway worked since we've owned it. It looks and drives like it! It has a small oil leak which i've been told are the push rod tube "o" rings not bad tough. I guess that is a common problem. (I do have the o rings but have not taken time to put them in). You will not be disappionted. Any questions call or text 7one5 4one8 one856. Thanks for looking!
