We like the Ferrari 360. This Ferrari set the bar for other supercars by providing blistering performance, ethereal steering, superior ride and tenacious grip. It doesn’t look half bad either, and who can argue with a car that proudly presented its engine under a glass hood?
The Ferrari 360 was all-new in 1999. It is powered by a mid-mounted 3.6-liter V8 that pumps out a raucous 400 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. The all-important 0-60-mph sprint is accomplished in a few ticks north of 4 seconds.
This Modena is equipped with the rather pricey F1 automated clutch manual gearbox that shifts very quickly, and makes it a good choice for both aggressive driving and commuting.

What makes a Ferrari a Ferrari is so much more than simply a go-fast engine and a logo imprinted with a startled horse. The 360 sported an aluminum space-frame chassis, adjustable aluminum double-wishbone suspension and a sleek body by Pininfarina constructed of -- you guessed it -- aluminum, which results in super-low weight for ideal performance and handling. Of course, the latter is also made possible by a wide-track body and suspension that reduced body roll to a theoretical concept, while the steering stays Ginsu knife-sharp right up to triple-digit speeds.

The 360 also has an interior worthy of the car's hefty original price tag of over $130K, if you were lucky enough to get one having been among the first on a very long waiting list. Supple leather, high-quality materials and straightforward ergonomics strike an excellent balance between luxury and driving-focused simplicity. The snug seats offer plenty of lateral support, with a comfortable reach to the divine steering wheel. Besides contributing to superb road-holding, the 360's wide body also provides lots of elbow room and enough space for a set of golf clubs behind the two seats. And really, what's the point of a country club if you can't show off your Ferrari?

This particular car was sold new at Ferrari of Houston on 12/23/1999.
Wow what a Christmas present!
The original owner being local, did not have the car very long, and only drove it 2426 miles. Sold to the second owner in 08/2001, it passed hand twice more (4) owners, each subsequent year, 06/2002 until it was back in the original Dealers Inventory with 6215 miles, at Ferrari of Houston, in 11/05/2002.
Although we do not have the records to prove it, the car had to have been fully serviced by Ferrari of Houston at this time due to the fact that it was re issued and sold with the “Ferrari Powertrain Plus Pre Owned Warranty Validation” beginning 12/31/2002 when sold to the fifth owner.
Although the records aren’t perfect, they are certainly enough to validate the care and maintenance of the car as being held to a high standard.
For example in October of 2007 with 10572 miles, the car received the full service and belt job, at Ferrari of Houston.
At 18527 miles in August of 2011, again belts serviced at Lamborghini of Dallas in Richardson. You might think that too soon for the miles, but you also have to keep in mind the years passed, as in this case. It was also at this time that the car changed hands to an owner in Dallas.
By 10/2011 the car changed hands the final time and came to San Antonio.
At 29591 miles, this car has been extremely well taken care of in the mechanical department. The last service was recorded at 24469 miles on December of 2011, and will not be due again for belt services until 45,000 miles (and that’s an inspection) or until 10/2015. Now records show, including the most recent services here at the Barrett Ferrari location right down the road from us, that this car will not be due for an oil change or service inspection until 40K (5 less than the book since it was done 5K before the 30k service, or by
January of 2014. Although these records are pretty thorough, additional information and service records may be with the dealer in Houston, and here at Barrett.

This car is also very complete with Books, Records, the tool kit, and the Duffle Bag all comes with the car. The books also include a copy of the Radio Card, Alarm Code Card, the Ferrari Powertrain Plus booklet and more.
Cosmetically the car is not perfect of course, but very VERY nice. The car has had some paint work on the front bumper cover, and the rear was removed, painted and replaced a few months ago with 26390 miles on it. The car also recently had the clear front bra added. Most likely because the rest of the car is nice, and it would drive the owner nuts if it wasn’t near perfect.
The paint is fantastic and looks very very good. And the interior is still very soft and subtle. Beautiful inside and out… and the engine bay is no exception!

The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
- Deposit - The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 1 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
- Payment - Certified Check or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. If you have any questions please call us for more information.
- Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
- Buyer's Inspection - Every effort was made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle. Our Dealership has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have some dings and scratches inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. Our dealership welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection fees.
- Shipping - The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. Please contact us if you would like us to help assist in finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our dealership. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is picked up by the shipping company.
- Warranty - Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, this vehicle is being sold "as is". No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Manufacturer's warranties may still apply. Bidder Notice
We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.
- Bid Retractions - Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.
- Negative Feedback Bidders - We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.
- Successful Bidder - The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact us within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
- Non-Paying Bidder - If the deposit is not received within 2 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
