Vehicle Detail

Used 1973 Suzuki GT750k Water Buffalo/Kettle/Water Bottle LeMans Model with 25,202 miles. The entire bike is relatively original with a few exceptions to the original airbox has been replaced with 3 K&N Air Filters for each carburetor. The exhaust is aftermarket Italian. The rear shocks are aftermarket Monroe brand. The turn-signals have been removed and lost. Part of the oil pump cover is missing. I believe the wheels have been replaced & Laced with D.I.D. Satin Alloys. The Tyres are an older set of Continental Classics, Both of which are weather cracked and have little to no tread left. The chain is old and needs replacing along with the sprockets. The electrical wiring is mostly original with a few professional repairs with O.E. connectors. All the lights work except the rear brake switch needs adjustment. The fuel tank is rust free. The only real major damage is on the top of the fuel tank with a orange sized dent. The seat does not have any tears. The Bike runs & stops good. Until recently, the Suzuki has been stored indoors for about 3-4 years untouched. Before that the bike was ridden as a daily rider through the non-winter months of Minnesota. The water buffalo about a couple weeks ago was in the shop where its stored getting a full top to bottom preventive maintenance once over. While there a few jobs have been done, which are as listed: - A full ignition tune-up including new Suzuki Ignition Points & Condensers, Gap set, timing reset, new NGK B6ES spark plugs. - Gearbox fluid has been flushed and filled with Spectro 20w50 - Two stroke oil injection system has been flushed, cleaned, filled, & primed with Klotz Techniplate TCW3 - Cooling system has been flushed, cleaned, filled, & bled with Long-Life Antifreeze/Coolant - Complete carburetor tear down, cleaning, jetting, rebuild with O.E.M. Suzuki parts - Fuel lines have been replaced with new inline fuel filters - K&N cleaning, and re-oil - Final drive chain has been adjusted and lubed - All control cables(throttle, clutch, choke, & oil pump) have been adjusted and lubed - Right-hand crankshaft end seal has been replaced - Charging system has been cleaned and tested, Output is 14.5 volts at battery connections - The cylinder compression test was reported with 150psi in all three cylinders - Exhaust system has been fully rebuilt with all new race fiberglass packing in all three silencer ends - The electric start works as well as the auxiliary kick starter - All electrical switches work other than the turn signals which have been removed & lost from the GT750K - The seat is undamaged as well as everything under the seat - The original tool kit is intact in the tray - The fuel tank is rust free with a rebuilt petcock assembly, one of the tank mounting rubbers is missing as well as the rear lock down strap is broken, there is a dent in the top of the tank - The side-covers are intact with original emblems and are in good condition without any major visible damage, one of the covers mounting rubber grommet(just one) are missing - Tyres are old and weather cracked with little to no tread left - Brake lines have been replaced with Goodridge brand Stainless Steel Braided Lines - A Lot of the original frame hardware has surface rust but is intact without any noticeable damage - All the gauges including the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, temperature gauge, warning lights work, the tachometer cable is missing at the moment but everything is in working condition The bike does run good and rides very fast and stops well. Like any vintage bike of this age, it does need a few parts & components to be addressed, replaced, and repaired. - The tyres need replacing, but still hold air - The brake fluid system needs flushing with new DOT4 fluid (the current fluid is dirty) - The front fork suspension system needs rebuilding, still fluid in there but have leaking seals - The final drive chain needs replacing with the counter sprocket & final drive sprocket as well - The bike needs a new battery for the old one is shot (the bike will not be shipped with a battery installed) - The front fender needs replacing for the front section has been chopped off - The handlebar grips are an older set of Renthal Road Race Compound, they are old, worn, and one is partially torn. The original key is included with bike. The Suzuki GT750K LeMans has a clean, clear, current Certificate Of Title For A Motor Vehicle Registered in the State Of Minnesota.
