This Thunderbird is a highly sought after sunroof model and has the desirable 352 Special V8 Engine ( 300 H.P.) 4-Barrel Holley Carburetor with the Dual Exaust System. Options include power steering and brakes, power driver's seat . Bought from an older gentleman who had the car since new ! Over the past few years the Thunderbird got new brakes and fuel lines, wheel cylinders and master cylinder as well as a new radiator and hoses. 352 was rebuilt in 2002 included carburetor, water pump, power steering pump and generator. Engine compartment is nice and clean. Petronix electronic ignition replaced points setup., Original points setup in a box in the trunk. The entire front end was rebuilt in 2010, including ball joints, bushings, idler arms and tie rods, shocks and steering dampener. Sears bias ply tires all atound -- great shape with no dry rot. Interior is in great shape, dash is perfect with no cracks or warping-- It's immaculate. chrome on dashboard is in great shape as well- new glove box insert, new dome light bezel and lens--door panels are very good. saets have some open seams under new seat covers. Dealer installed driver seat belt works, passenger seat belt still in box. All guages work as well as all power windows. Passenger side window has a crack but is still intact and goes up and down.Drivers power seat works. Sliding power sunroof works perfectly- latch opens and roof slides back with ease- no leaks..Original radio works!! no static. Original paperwork is included -- build sheet, bill of sale, warranty, owners manual and 1960 Thunderbird catalog. Always garaged- paint is original!!and still shines up well.This Thunderbird is all original and solid all around no bondo,floors trunk and frame are clean, body is very straight. doors close easily. All spring loaded door lock covers work as well as trunk lock " sliding bird". Starts easily even in cold weather, dosn't leak anything, garage floors are always dry when I pull her out.Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly. Runs very strong. lots of power from the 352 V8. Tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly., no pulling or fading, suspension and steering are tight. She's roadworthy as all directional/brake/turn signals/headlights work as well as wipers and horn.. Drives overall like an American Sports Car should.
