Alfa Romeo's Alfetta was, and remains, a misunderstood and undervalued car. Perhaps Alfa's most technically sophisticated product prior to Fiat's takeover of the company in 1987, the Alfetta came from a long line of class-leading automobiles. The Alfetta was something of a last hoorah for pre-Fiat Alfa Romeo. Stylish and engaging, yet tragically flawed, the Alfetta turned out to be something of a metonym for the entire Alfa Romeo brandThe Alfa Romeo GTV-6 was produced from 1981 through 1986. It was powered by a V6 single-overhead cam engine that displaced 152 cubic-inches. The engine produced just over 150 SAE horsepower and was mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Disc brakes could be found on all four corners and steering was by rack-and-pinon. The GTV-6 had a coupe configuration with two doors and seating for four. Standard equipment included leather upholstery, tilt steering wheel, magnesium wheels, metallic paint, and air conditioning. When introduced, the GTV6 carried a price tag of just under $17,000. What I have is a beautiful one owner car in very good shape! It runs, drives and, shifts excellent. Super clean interior and all original besides the two front seats which were replaced with Recaro seats, the exact same color as the rest of the interior! It has all original the books and keys! The car needs a clutch soon but it still runs and shift fine but, pedal high! Couple rust spots, one on the right fender, and the other under windshields. Both surface rust like a little bubble in the paint!! The top of the back seats are faded from age but, have no rips !! PLEASE ASK AS MUCH QUESTION AS YOU LIKE, I'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ANSWER!
