This vehicle is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY! The vehicle was seized by the Frederick County (MD) Narcotics Task Force in January of 2007 and is being auctioned per policy. There is no "Buy it Now" price because the seized vehicles must be sold auction style. The vehicle is for local pick up only or the buyer must arrange for delivery. Following the seizure of the vehicle, the Task Force used the vehicle as part of its fleet unitl recently. The Task Force put approximately 70,000 miles on the vehicle in the five years that they used it and it did get regularly scheduled maintenance during this time. The maintenance records are available if desired. There are some problems with the vehicle to include: the interior driver door handle is broken off and it has no heat. The battery and alternator were replaced within the last year and it did start right up after sitting this winter for about a month without being used. We do not know of any other mechanical issues HOWEVER, we are cops, not mechanics so if you would like to look at this or test drive it, please let us know. The vehicle is a 1998 Ford Expedition. It has tan cloth seats, automatic windows, auto door locks, auto mirror and cruise control. The second row seat is a split bench seat and the third row is a bench seat. The first set folds down and the second set can fold down or be removed. The Expedition has running boards on both sides of the vehicle. It has an AM/FM cassette that works and a CD player that does not work. It does have a "Hitchtype" towing package. The only exterior damage is a dent in the front bumper (see picture) and a small dent on the hood. There are small scratches in the paint but I believe they can be buffed out. The vehicle has no lien and is currently titled to the Frederick County Commissioners.
