Incredibly, it's only logged 138k original miles and runs and drives great. It has ALWAYS been garaged and taken care of. I feel this Westfalia is in incredible condition inside and out for being 29 years old. All its original books, manuals, and warranty books come with the vehicle. Its nice to have this documentation when buying a vehicle. It will bring many happy memories while driving and camping with the family.How often do you see a 1984 Westfalia in this condition? Not very often at all. This Westfalia was recently acquired from the same family that purchased it NEW in spring of 1984, YES its only had ONE previous owner. The love for this Westfalia is obvious. People can't believe the condition of this westfalia for its age; simply amazing. The paint is very presentable and shiny; however, it is not show quality with a few nicks and dings that are inevitable for its age. The interior is super clean and tidy; I just had a new windshield and seal installed and added new seals for the pop-top. It sleeps 4 and has its original mini kitchen. It has a 4 speed manual transmission with its watercooled 1.9 liter engine that runs great. It is fun to drive and easy to maintain. It has air conditioning but will need recharging. In closing, this is one of those Westfalias that makes you stop and stare; and the more you look, the more you love it. With so many beat up Westfalias in the world, when you come across one like this, anything less would be a compromise. It's incredible how nice a Westfalia can be with an attentive and anal-retentive original owner who takes proper care, garages, and properly maintains their vehicle.
