I started this ranchero restoration over 5 years ago.The truck was bead blasted.Sprayed with Dupont 36 two part epoxy primer.The front suspension is all new except the coil springs and rebuildingthe gearbox.The worm gear was in good shape.Very little play in steering wheel.New 3 row radiator,Complete overhaul 200 six cylinder,Complete rebuild 2speed ford 0 matic new u joints.Rebuildrear axle 3.5 gear ratio.New gas tank,sender and hoses.All new brakes,Drums beadblasted painted.Turned New races,bearings.Press on new studs and lug nuts also rear axle.New hoses and stainlessbrake lines,Backing plates were clear zinic from chrome shop.All the chrome is beautiful.Professionaly restored.No pitting.All stainless was polish.Rechromed bumpers.The grill was reanodize andeyebrows.No scratches, Gorgeous,boomerang reproduction outside handles,outside mirror fomoco.Bedrail rechromed gorgeous,., Taillight buckets restored new anodize finish, NOS lenes.Inside. cab is beautiful,New starlight headliner,NOS speedometer.plastic lenes is a reproduction I put together.Cables clean,new knobs,gorgeous am radio, no static new speaker Nos under dashwiresNothing cut.Rebuilt heater complete.Nos shift collar very rare.New steering wheel,Stock dual horns.Parking brake restored and vent.Aftermarket floor matt.New vin tag,All new glass, rubber,felthandles,armrest nos emblem tag on passenger door.Aftermarket 2speed electric wipers, using stock bezel and knob.4ply uniroyals 13inch from coker classic.Bumper jack Nos.New floor pan behindbench seat,cab wall bottom 1 inch angle steel along bottom on both sides and two areas in bottom of cargo area.Frame is straight.Undercarriage primed and painted pitch black 99k two part semiglossclear.The cargo. area has no sway back and you wont find no rhino coating on this gorgeous bed. The tailgate is solid no hidden rust.It was taken apart and detailed.Hinges zinc plated.very detailed.The pictures speak for themslves The truck has red primer spots So it will need to be repainted as well as fine tuining my body work.I used Dupont centari ragoon red.The Ranchero runs like a spitfire.I love the autolite carburator correct for the automatic.Idles great while in gear, I took it on the freeway acouple times it cruises 65 easy.I hate driving on the freeway.I have some of the receiptsRadiator,engine,Trans,Axle and pictures and paint numbers in book with the truck. The battery is a sealed battery autolite staful, New rebuild generator, starter, new wire harness,motor mounts,hosesAir cleaner reads 170 but motor is a 200. I wanted to make it look stock looking.I installed everything myself, including Beadblasting , Body work and paintng Ok but not show quality.Color is weakon the hood.So figure if you want show quality, you will need to redo the truck.Inside cab is great,The white top is great and the bed.I spent alot of money and labor more then what starting BID isthere is no reserve. Im doing a retro ice cream truck.I sold two vintage trucks to purchase the freezer boxI guess I got tired of punching a clock for thirty years at thesame place.And took vantage of a good pension.and I want to finish the ice cream truck sooner then a few more years. Lights work,Horns, Turnsignals,brake lights,wipers,dome light,radio,cigerettlighter,choke. The neutral safety switch is not plug in so, it will need the correct connection also I havent done an alinement should check the toe in and toe out.The Truck steers good though.Iinstalled new steering parts-ball joints.tie rods,ider arm , perches,drag link,shocks,sway bar bushings,leaf spring bushings- I bead blasted the exhaust pipe excellent solid shape, using hot temppaint , muffler Nos and tail pipe ,Nos hangers. I took everything off and repainted items like headlight buckets-new adjusting screws, Nos battery tray,Nos gas cap,Nos heater plenum.The Benchseat was strip of old paint and rust.Primed and painted black with new cover.Hub caps Nos beautiful look.New water pump,Mustered coil.complete tune up,New fuel pump, I used alot of theoriginal body panel screws, had them zinic plated.Interior is all new had them match original door panel and the stitching.The door locks are keyed with the same ignition switch key.The rancherois always kept garaged and I only drove it when it was nice weather.I always keep the tank filled and never let it get below half way mark.I was very surprised it handles the hot weather really wellhere in Las Vegas. ,. s
