Vehicle Detail
Ok here she is, I have sold a couple cars and bikes on here before but this time I am selling one of my own, however much it pains me to do it. This bike was purchased completely original and stock from its original owner with about 18k original miles on it, when I got it I had to give it a custom touch that I think the suddle customizations updated the look and made it look like an awesome naked GoldWing. First think you will notice is the rare original 76 GL1000 LTD gold spoked wheels. The bike is black with gold pin stripping, when I found out these wheels existed I just had to get them for the bike, After much search and some fabrication I got them on the bike and the really completed the look. (it is not as simple as finding the wheels and putting them on) The bike has been lowered to give it a better look and improve the ride; custom seat was added as well. The bike has new tires, new belts, and is turn key ready to ride. Take your time and enjoy the video as well as all the pictures; they should give you the best idea, short of seeing the bike in person, of the condition of the bike. Sorry for the music in the background of the video, I did not realize that camera was going to pick it up so well, what you saw on the video was a cold start, notice how the rpm were not jumping around unless you played with the throttle, I was not using the choke on the video that’s why it was a little unsteady at first but once she warms up she is smooth as greased butter. On Mar-18-13 at 09:37:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the auction (if you wish) will also include the original rear shocks, incase you want to return the bike to original height. The auction also includes easy on windshield, even though I love the look of the bike without it on, on the highway the windshield makes the ride a completly different pleasure. On Mar-19-13 at 19:00:50 PDT, seller added the following information: From a message I replied to: Hello, yes all the gauges work as they should, the only thing "off" on it is that the neutral light doesn't go completely off when you put it into gear, it gets dimmer but you can still see it. Besides that all the gauges work great. The bike does not overheat at all and actually when cruising, it stays about only 1/4 of the way over. The bike has a boxer motor so it does not have a typical valves system in lieu of the over head cams, but yes everything works great on it and has more than enough power to speed away or cruise comfortable at 85, 95 whatever you choose, I don't think I've taken it over about 110 mph but she had no problem getting there.
