Vehicle Detail

My friend, Steve, passed away doing what he loved to do; racing vintage Japanese motorcycles. He passed while racing at Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio in July 2011. I am attempting to assist his Wife with the eighteen motorcycles that he left behind. Steve was a former Suzuki / KTM dealer, and was a meticulous motorcycle mechanic. He fixed everything on each of his bikes, no matter how insignificant. At the time of his death, he had one of the eighteen bikes that would not run and ride. He had gathered up the parts and pieces needed, but time ran out. He rode all of his bikes, and took care of each of them. Please view the other auctions. I will list one every few days, as I take pictures and get them listed. This Honda CB77 Superhawk is the only bike that did not run and ride when Steve passed. It was purchased in Oakley, Kansas, while purchasing another bike, and was brought home and "placed on the back burner". Having gone through Steves' "parts stash", I have located a used front fender, and a used rear fender (pictured). Also, brake and clutch levers, handlebars, shift lever rubber, kick start rubber, and seat cover and strap. I can't tell if these are OEM or aftermarket, but they are new and bubble wrapped. I've also located the plate cover that sits on top of engine that is not in pictures. This bike is missing the ignition switch, keys, and chain guard. Both fenders have been chopped, but used OEM fenders are included and pictured. Tires look to be original, but are weather-checked. Engine has good compression, and the scent of old fuel is strong. Inside of tank is pictured, and minimal rust specks are present. Tank and carb issues will need to be addressed, as usual. Exterior of tank has no issues. Exhausts pipes are really in good shape with minimal wear, and should clean up nicely. Handlebars look to have come off some type of miniature moonbuggy; they just don't belong, but the replacement, be it OEM or aftermarket, is included. Bike looks to be originally black, but bobbed fenders and side covers were painted a beautiful shade of "funky green". This bike has not been cleaned or prepped for pictures in order to sell; it is just as it has set for almost two years. I think it's a 1967; Honda gurus can tell me if I'm wrong, but EBAY probably won't let me change the year model if I'm wrong. Frame # CB77 1036417 Engine # CB77E 1036498 Very realistic reserve. Thanks for looking!! A notorized Bill of Sale from Wife will be provided. There is NO title for this bike; Bill of Sale only! Buyer responsible for transportation from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 39402. I will work and assist shipper if needed. Can store inside until pickup. Must be paid in full.
