My friend, Steve, passed away doing what he loved to do; racing vintage Japanese motorcycles. He passed while racing at Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio in July 2011. I am attempting to assist his Wife with the eighteen motorcycles that he left behind. Steve was a former Suzuki / KTM dealer, and was a meticulous motorcycle mechanic. He fixed everything on each of his bikes, no matter how insignificant. At the time of his death, he had one of the eighteen bikes that would not run and ride. He had gathered up the parts and pieces needed, but time ran out. He rode all of his bikes, and took care of each of them. Please view the other auctions. I will list one every few days, as I take pictures and get them listed. I have not even washed this bike; it is just as I rolled it out of the shop, after almost two years! I have not applied Armorall or attempted to make it look any different than it is. I own several VJMCs, and I don't like "puchasing surprises". I don't expect you to like them either. I have taken several pictures, and tried to show all. If you need additional pictures, I will be happy to take them and email them to you. This Suzuki PE 400 looks to be mostly original. It does has an aftermarket FMF TurbineCore 2 Silencer, and barkbusters. Seat has no rips or tears. Plastic panels have no breaks or cracks. Stripes are slightly "bubbled". Exhaust stain on front and rear fenders, but may clean off. Looks like oil! Fenders are not burned or melted from exhaust. Tires are new, and have not been run; Still have tits! Chain and sprockets look new, and well lubed. Fuel smells fresh even though it's almost two years old. Maybe Seafoam helps! Tail light and headlight look good. Fork gators look new; no rips or tears, and soft. Brakes operate well. Has great compression. Expect the fuel and carb work as usual. Front forks look nice, rear swingarm looks nice, and aluminum rims look nice. Bikes shows well. Mile meter works, and is included. This bike was raced at Mid-Ohio in July 2010; the year before Steve passed! Realistic reserve. Thanks for looking!!
