My friend, Steve, passed away doing what he loved to do; racing vintage Japanese motorcycles. He passed while racing at Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio in July 2011. I am attempting to assist his Wife with the eighteen motorcycles that Steve left behind. Steve was a former Suzuki / KTM Dealer, and was a meticulous motorcycle mechanic. He fixed everything on each of his bikes, no matter how insignificant. At the time of his death, he had only one of the eighteen that would not run and ride. He had gathered the needed parts and pieces, but never got to the last one. He rode and enjoyed all his bikes, and took care of them. Please view the other auctions. I will list one every few days, as I take pictures and get them listed. This Suzuki SP 600 looks to be mostly original with new tires, (still have tits and looks to have NEVER been run), and fork gators. Bike shows nice, with very little "patina". Seat has wear, but no rips or tears. Chain and sprockets look newer, and in great condition. Lights and turn signals are nice, and no plastic is broken or cracked. Aftermarket handlebars are straight with nice grips, and instrument panel. I have taken several pictures, and tried to show all; and I don't expect you to like surprises. I have several VJMCs, and realize that everyones' "conditions" are different. I don't like surprises either. If you need additional pictures, I will be happy to take what you need and email them to you. I have hosed the dust off; almost two years worth, but have not altered looks for pictures what so ever. No soap, no WD40, and no Armorall. Bike will need the usual tank and carb attention; Fuel is two years old, but doesn't smell too bad. Steve believed in Seafoam, and used it in all his bikes to battle the effects of ethanol. Figure on new battery also. Realistic reserve, and thanks for looking. A notorized Bill of Sale from Wife will accompany a clear, dated Ohio title in the previous owners name. Buyer is responsible for transportation. Pick up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39402. Will work with, and assist shipper if needed. Can store inside as long as needed to arrange pick up. Needs to be fully paid for!!
