FOR MORE PICTURES PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AT PALMBEACHAUTO.NET 2003 FORD MUSTANG SVT COBRA OVERVIEW Supposedly nicknamed the "Terminator" during production, the 2003 SVT Cobras lived up to that moniker, offering some significant upgrades that blew away their predecessors and competition, starting with the supercharged 4.6 L DOHC engine from Eaton, that put out an estimated 390 hp and 390 lbs-ft of torque. The block itself was changed from aluminum to cast iron, to handle the seriously ramped up hp and torque the 2003 could deliver. There was also a new manual transmission included, a 6-speed Tremec T56. In addition to these improvements under the hood, this car also offered redesigned fascias in the front and back, a specially-created "heat-extraction" hood, GT-styled scoops, and multiple updated and new interior features. As the 2003 model represented the 10th anniversary of the SVT Cobra, there were limited-edition versions of the car manufactured to commemorate this fact, featuring exclusive Dark Argent painted, 17" x 9" alloy wheels, red brake calipers and red leather interior accents on both the door panels and seats and badges marked "SVT 10th Anniversary" on the floor mats and rear deck lid.
