This car is basic transportation at its best with 163k highway miles. It has been maintained very well – never having been in an accident. The engine is very strong and peppy with extremely good gas mileage as you would expect in the mid-30’s. Please note: THIS IS A 5-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION – NOT AN AUTOMATIC. I have just replaced the clutch (read: new transmission with about 200 miles on it) and the car runs great. The paint is in great condition – it shines like new. The interior is pretty clean without a great deal of dirt and staining - the only issue is some wear (shown) on the driver's seat. It has a working radio but no other options. Issues: 1.) The car needs for a tie-rod on the front passenger side. This makes the car vibrate and/or pull to the right when shifting - making it unsafe to drive. Once purchased, I recommend to have the car towed to your location and the front end repaired prior to driving. Otherwise drive at your own risk; 2.) The emergency brake needs to be fixed. This vehicle is being offered for sale “AS-IS” because of year and miles.
