THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!! Up for bids is a 1948 Chevrolet Aerosedan project car with lots of high dollar parts already installed. This is actually a pretty solid car for the year. The floors need some work but not real bad, same goes for the trunk floor. The trunk pan just inside the trunk has been cut out and just needs a new one tacked in its place. This is a very common problem area on these cars but the replacement parts are very inexpensive. The doors have a little rust in the bottoms but the outer skins appear to be good. Inner rockers need work but remember it is a 48 model. The hood is great, fenders are pretty good front and rear. The remainder of the main body has a few rust holes but its very solid around the areas so theres good metal to weld to or glass in. The grille is driver quality, both bumpers are pretty nice. It has a poly gas tank and theres several boxes of new and used parts for it. The car has a CHASSIS ENGINERRING rear suspension kit brand new bought just for this car. It has new springs, hangers, shocks, u bolts all bolted in with new hardware. It also has the underfloor master cylinder mount and also the mount for the brake booster all new also from CHASSIS ENGINERRING. On the front theres a new radiator support from CE also. All of this is new and installed. The rearend is from a 69 firebird . All of these parts cost me lots of money and if you build rods you know exactly what im talking about. There is no front crossmember as I hadnt gotten around to purchasing it. It also was going to be a CE assembly for mustang II suspension. The picture ive added of the complete car sitting on the trailer is how I got it. Since ive started working on it, its always been in the garage and still is, never sit out in the weather. The firewall has had the holes welded up and just needs finished off with a little filler. Guys I have over $1000 dollars in all the new CE parts I mentioned. This being done also saves you time not to mention money and the headache of ordering the stuff. This car would make a great street rod, hot rod or Rat rod. It wouldnt take a lot of work to get it on the road just depends on how nice you want to make it. I have some new small parts such as door handles etc also. I have the big side molding that I just pait about $350 for, not new but nice. Ask any questions you may have as i am sure I have left out some important details. This car is pretty solid for the year and also it was on the road as a hot rod a year or two before I bought it. I may consider trades depending on what you have, no promises. I like Elcaminos, GMC Sprints, Cadillacs and Harleys. I would consider running driving cars or projects. This car has a clear WV title ready to go.
