Vehicle Detail
This is a RARE 1968 Chevrolet Impala 327 Custom Coupe 2 door formal top with a Turbo-Fire 327 5.3L V8 275 horsepower Engine with only 87,324 ORIGINAL miles and matching numbers! Needs a new Carbuerator and it will be road ready. It could be an everyday driver as well as your weekend project. This baby has never been in an accident and it has a free and clear title. This car is almost COMPLETELY ORIGINAL! It has all ORIGINAL red and black leather seats in near mint condition. (The driver's seat needs a seam repair, otherwise, they are perfect!) The ORIGINAL dash face is in perfect condition including the original functioning radio and steering wheel. It also comes with the ORIGINAL hubcaps in brand new condition, worth $1,000 by themselves! It even has the ORIGINAL paint. I have just replaced the original tires since they were past their prime. I have also recently replaced the windshield, battery, fuel pump, and alternator, along with all the fluids including the oil and filter. I had it running in August 2012, but it needs some TLC that I just do not have the time for. The A/C compressor needs to be replaced since it blows air, just not cold air. It could also use a new set of speakers, a headliner, and new leather for the soft top on the outside. The original paint is faded a little and the exterior has a few rust spots, namely one on the passenger's rear side where the roof meets the body. The floorboard was rusted in some spots, but has just been redone with sheet metal and rust remover. The dash face is perfect while the top has some heat cracks. The potential is there it just needs someone with a little more time than I have right now to bring this car back to its original glory. This is a once in a lifetime car!
