Vehicle Detail
1970 Plymouth Barracuda 318 Automatic 8 3/4 rear REAL PLUM CRAZY PURPLE originally with White Vinyl Roof and options like M91 Luggage Rack R22 AM 8 track Stereo C62 LH 6 Way Manual Adj Seat C16 Console and Bucket Seat FC7 Plum Crazy Metallic Paint VIW White Vinyl Roof M31 Belt Molding M25 Wide Sill Molding (have them) C26 Overhead Roof Console A01 Light Package G33 Remote Left Mirror M21 Roof Drip Molding L31 Hood Fender Mounted Turn Signals and more. Original trim tag still on car motor and trans are suppose to be original I did see 318 on drivers side of block. Has been garaged for years and off the road since 1987. Car needs restoration but is a great starter car with solid frame. Car was undercoated which help save the floors they are in good condition needs trunk pan and 1/4 panels. Sheet metal looks to be original and car is in all around good shape for its age I have seen way worse. I have the rear valance panel and a new gas tank in the box car was running when stored. Inner front fenders are solid and original fender tag is attached. Firewall is rust free as well and car shows 86k miles. Glass is in good shape not all scratched up and trim is also pretty nice. Bumpers and tail light bezels just need a good cleaning I am missing the headlight bezels. Has a 340 style hood that was obviously added. Great project in a killer color combo would make a great original ride or perfect for resto-mod pro tour or Hemi clone. Any questions call 443-398-7271 car is available for inspection anytime that way there are no issues come see before you bid. Vehicle is sold as is and I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime car is advertised locally. A $500 deposit is due 24hrs after auctions end with balance due within 5 days of auctions end. Hard to find 70 Cuda's these days. On Mar-05-13 at 13:32:46 PST, seller added the following information: More pics available also just call or text an email. On Mar-09-13 at 20:50:03 PST, seller added the following information: As stated in the ad above this car needs restoration both 1/4 panels need replacing as well as the trunk pan. Doors are in good condition with very minimal rust as well as the front fenders. Floors seem solid I did find a patch on the drivers side. Floors are pretty solid no soft spots I could find and the frame is also solid as far as I can see with no issues. Most of the trim is in good condition as well and the factory glass is good all windows roll up and down as they should. Body lines and seams are factory and very nice. Doors do not sag and close with 2 fingers. Will need a new headliner package tray and dash is cracked and will need a new dash cover. Overall car is pretty solid and has been stored indoors for years and again is a great project or starter car in a rare color combo with some cool options. Engine has not ran since 1987 when it was stored. Everything is there original motor trans and rear and car also has power steering. I am not a body guy and I am describing the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. So as I said car is available for inspection anytime and encouraged that way there are no issues. I will be glad to answer any questions just call or email me thru ebay. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to restore a 70 Cuda they are hard to come by and very desirable in the classic car world. I was going to do the car as a pro-tour style resto mod with a Hemi but it also would be cool to do back to stock....either way car has the potential to make a nice ride.
