Thanks for checking out this listing, this is for the sale of a 2004.5 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 1.8T car. The entire car has 93,000 miles on it The motor was rebuilt at 60,000, due to a timing belt failure. The rebuild was performed by the best garage in the business, European Motorsport in South Boston MA This example is 1 of just 5,000 units ever made, and is highly regarded as one of the best looking VW's on the road, and by far the best Jetta This specific car has been cared for and built specifically to handle anything I'd want to throw at it. It has not been beaten, it has not been driven into the ground, this car has been a project of mine since I bought it with 8,000 miles on the clock. I have enjoyed every.single.mile. in this car, and I am looking to pass it on to somebody that would enjoy the car itself, the upgrades made to it, and the looks it gets from just about every corner! This car is 100% track ready(minus cage and harness), it's the most reliable daily driver I've ever had, and when driven normally, will get you over 35 mpg on the highway. I drove this car across the country from Boston to LA, and averaged 31mpg over 4,200 miles, with an additional 500lbs of luggage with me There are more photos coming, but for now these are the ones I have taken this week (1st week of March) If the vehicle is purchased at the Buy It Now price, or Higher (auction possibility) I will ship the car anywhere in the Contiguous 48 States, otherwise buyer is responsible for pickup and shipping. Current upgrades from the stock condition are as follows: ECU: Revo Stage 2+ Software (For added top-end boost, and better throttle response) Intake: Short Ram Cone filter Intake (get more air in) Silicone APR Turbo Inlet pipe (doesn't collapse under acceleration like the factory pipe does) 4-Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator (regulates fuel flow required under increased boost levels) High Flow 380cc Injectors (provides increased fuel deliver under increased boost levels) Exhaust: Custom Built 3" Turbo Back exhaust with DOT high-flow cat and 16" resonator (sounds fantastic!) (allows increased air and fuel mixture to be let out of car, allowing turbo to spool up easier, providing more power at a lower RPM) Personal note of pride, I had a gentleman in an MB C63 AMG comment on how well the car sounded Drivetrain: Factory 6-Speed Manual Transmission (rock solid and great shifter! Gears litteraly fall into place) Upgraded VR6 VW Clutch (heavier duty to handle more power delivery, and increase ease of driveability) Braking: Factory Big Brake Pad & Rotor setup (better braking performance) ECS Tuning Stainless Steel Brake lines (allows less brake fade and more braking feedback from the pedal) ECS Cross Drilled, vented discs (keeps brakes cool and performing better under any condition, also decreases brake wear & tear) Suspension: ECS Stage 3 Suspension Refresh kit (allows car to maintain the performance of the factory VW/Konig system, while replacing anything that could have been worn out over the natural use of the car, it made a huge difference!) Chassis: Polyurethane Dogbone Mount (prevents motor from excess shake and movement within the engine bay, translates into more accurate rev matching for downshifts) ECS Tuning Subframe (allows more powerful configurations to apply power to ground without the worry of damaging any of the components) ECS Tuning Strut Brace Reduces chasis flexing by coupling the chasis together at the top points for a tighter and more refined feel of control over the direction of the car, a worthwhile upgrade to any vehicle! Interior: Tinted Windows @ 30% by the best in the business, Autopia in Chicago IL Nothing else. It's a fantastic car as is from the factory. The rebuild was performed by the best garage in the business, European Motorsport in South Boston MA The Accident listed under vehicle history was a collision with a curb after sliding on a wet new england street, avoiding a stray dog.. good news, the dog is fine! I could have repaired this myself, but the extend of the damage included the suspension and wheel (zero body-work) and I wanted to have it done right. The work was done, and I filed an insurance claim to help pay for it ($4k) That was years ago, and I've never had an alignment or suspension issue since.
