Great car... searched high and low for a car in great condition and bought this last Summer for use by my son at school... He changed his mind and got a new bike instead... my loss is your great gain... This is the "Base" model... But it has the factory power windows and door locks and cruise control... It is rare to find the base with power windows which is huge, driving around and being able to lower the windows to raise and lower the top makes life so much better... Now... you dont have the power top... its a good thing for a car over five years, Not to be power for all the problems electric and hydrolic that are now not there... Please know that means YOU will have to manually raise and lower the top... good news its small and easy... putting down is a snap, requires little effort... putting up takes a little more muscle but certain even a small person will understand the proper way it levers to make it easiest to move after a couple times... its a small top... Note: it has real glass for the back window... I spared no expense getting this vehicle ready... new timing chain including value guides, re-built transmission at a trans racing car shop-with new coolers... car tuned by factory trained techs... we are hot-rodders so my buds are the best... have $9K in it and asking Buy-It-Now of $4501... I never intended to have to resell this vehicle, hence all the money thrown into it... New 65K tires, wheels, alinement, (rolls straight and true), new brakes, fancy battery, custom seat covers, headlights (the whole assembly), top-liner replaced with top, custom floor mats, (top is 18 months old) and new car cover, ... car needs radio replaced and cruise control is not working ... 67000 miles... true... I drive a work van, have a VW Jetta, ultimate hot-rod with this VW have four cars and this one is already sitting, at least one too many...and if the weather is great... its the hod-rod for me (its topless also)... The car has a rebuilt title because (as best I researched) two owners ago theft attempt and insurance claim followed (probally why the new top was put on). All cars that are fixed are reported as rebuilt... no other damage... All fenders, front end, front and rear bumpers, appear to be original, no body work or over-spray anywhere, no-rust, body is great! The original headlights were not yellowed too bad which indicated it was garaged or under cover out of the sun for most its life, I replaced them anyway and gave them to a friend of a friend who reused them in his... The guy I bought it from had bought a new minivan for his wife and Prius for him and this was the "fun" car... point is after six months they were cash short and this sale helped them in their hour of need... With 67K miles the car appears to always have been the "fun" car and not a primary driver...
