This is a 1950 packard model 2392 eight standard. It has a 288 cubic inch straight eight engine, three speed manual transmission without overdrive. The car is in fairly solid shape, but will need to be restored to be a real show piece. As you can see in the pictures it is still wearing most of its turquois paint and is in barn fresh condition. This is a functional running driving car. It is currently registered and insured. However the engine is not the original but of the same type and vintage that should be in the car. The original engine dos come with the car but would need to be overhauled to bring it back to life. It did run at the time it was removed. The transmission was originally a Packard Ultramatic but was replaced with a 3 speed manual due to some slippage problems. The electrical system was replaced and has been converted to a 12 volt system. The brake work but are a little stiff due to sitting. So if you ar the winning bidder it would be best to trailer the vehicle home. The interior is original and has the usual moth,mouse and mildew damage of a car in this condition. I have owned this car for about 15 yearrs and can answer any further questions you might have.
