Rare 1994 SL320 European car. I am the second owner, the original owner was a German executive that imported the car when he moved to the US. It is a rare car, the most desirable color combination - Silver with Black interior, with the impossible to find rear seat which is contoured and molded, not a flat cushion add-on. It has european all red tailights, wide rear panel for euro plates, standard european third brake light delete, and beautiful european headlights, emergency triangle on OEM molded trunk lid trim. The SL320 is very powerfull, yet economical to use, unlike the V8 engines. I changed the speedometer gauge face to miles, but the original one is still in the car, if you want to keep it all original. VIN# WDB1290631F096045. Engine, transmission, air conditioning, heater and all major components are in excellent mechanical condition. Car starts and runs great, no vibrations or pulls. Wheels were replaced with more modern from the latest W129 (2000). The clear coat on the edge of the wheels is peeling off and could use refinishing. The convertible top is all original and is all there, but shows the age. There is a 2 inch cut on the lower right side of canvas and one of the small windows has cracked. One of the hydraulic cylinders from the top mechanism (rear passenger side) is leaking, and the top has to be lowered manually. The hardtop is in great condition, paint in the car is very good overall, but not perfect. Tires and brakes are very good, overall interior is great. Finding a euro version of these cars in the US is almost impossible. This is not a perfect, showroom car, but a rare, very good looking and reliable SL, good on gas, great power. I would not hesitate to get in this car and drive across the country the way it is. Sold as is, no warranty expressed or implied. You are welcome to isnpect the car prior to buying it.
