Up for bids is this Tan on Tan 1990 Ford Crown Victoria Police Package. This Vehicle is equipped with the 5.0 L/302cu. V8 with Automatic overdrive transmission. It is a rust free Arizona car! This Crown Victoria started its life as a police patrol unit for a small Northern Arizona Town. Vehicle has 88,000 Babied original miles, Car was retired due to age not milage! The engine purrs, I mean growls like new. This vehicle has a clear title! Police department has strict maintenance standards. The car is in good condition for its age and is driven occasionally! It would make a very dependable head turning daily driver, easy Police car restoration, or a great car for a small security company. This is a great example of a true law enforcement vehicle. Ready to go back to work or play!The engine runs as new and the transmission shifts excellent. It is very tight, and very strong. The brakes feel like new and there are no abnormal shakes, rattles, pulling or anything of that nature. It drives very smoothly and tightly. The heavy-duty police suspension makes this car handle like it is on rails and it actually gets phenomenal fuel mileage for such a large car with such a monstrous motor...I averaged approximately 20-24 miles per gallon on the highway. In overdrive, this car sails at 80-85 mph effortlessly. This is one of the nicest older police package cars I have had the pleasure of offering for sale in a long time, but remember, this is a vintage police vehicle and not "brand new" or "perfect"...but if you have been searching for one of these, don't pass this one up as I doubt you will find another that is any nicer. Crown Victorias like this one are becoming increasingly harder to find, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a nice one in a VERY rare and desirable color combination. These are the Crown Victorias afficianados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast!This is a factory, all Tan car, not a color change like you will often see on used police vehicles. This was always an unmarked administrative car, and it was never equipped with a lightbar, or pushbars. It is equipped with tan velour cloth seating front and rear, power windows, power mirrors, air-conditioning, After market AM/FM/CD stereo, tilt wheel, power trunk release and, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 5.0-Liter H.O. engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, heavy-duty 8.8-inch rear axle, noise suppression bond straps, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, 15" factory heavy-duty, 15" X 7" police wheels with full, factory chrome wheel covers, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover (H) pipe, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, heavy-duty front disc brakes, police suspension, and of course the certified 140-mph speedometer. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle of this age. This vehicle, as most used police vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; scratches, chips, nicks, dings (any major damage will be noted in the description such as large dents, etc.)...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives very nicely. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used police vehicles. VEHICLE EXTERIOR CONDITION The exterior condition of this vehicle is good! Vehicle has minor dings and scratches associated with fleet use. Original paint is semi glossy. The chrome still shines beautifully on this car. The front and rear bumper are in great condition. Grill and headlight areas are in great condition. Parking/turn signal lamp lenses are in great condition. Taillights are in excellent condition with Crown Victoria center crests still in place. Vehicle retains all four original Police Full wheel cover hubcaps in good driver condition. A few curb scratches and dings! Vehicles tires are good, with plenty of tread left. Retains front license plate bracket. No tinted Windows. Vehicle has one police antenna on trunk lid. Vehicle has aftermarket AM/FM factory radio antenna on front passenger fender. Vehicle has its original spotlight on drivers side A pillar. Need a good polish to be perfect! Vehicle has antenna mid roof. The mounted antenna not included. VEHICLE INTERIOR CONDITION The Tan interior of this Crown Victoria is in great condition, for a patrol unit. No rips or tears! looks very very nice! This Crown Victoria has the original cloth 50/50 split bench seats with matching cloth rear seats in great condition. Original factory carpet in good/fair condition. Torn on drivers side from police boots, Carpet has some stains. Dashboard is perfect, with no cracks! This is very rare for an arizona car! It will come with a dashmat to protect it. Door panels are in great condition. Dashboard panels in good condition, some holes from police equipment. Aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo radio. A/C buttons fall off the vehicles easy I have noticed. The police department got clever and installed a key ring in the place of the temperature control button and is more convenient than the original button. Vehicle retains all other factory A/C buttons. Car has some holes in dash from police equipment. Overhead visors are poor condistion will need to be reupholstered.Vehicle retains its original certified calibration 140 mph police speedometer. Headliner is in poor condition, will need to be reupholstered. C pillars are in great and apper to have been recovered at one time. Steering wheel is in great condition. Never had a Divider! VEHICLE ELECTRICAL CONDITION Ice-cold A/C! The A/C system has been converted from an R-12 to a R-134 Refrigerant system! Just filled with new R134 refrigerant! Heater is not currently working, might have too cold of a thermostate.Wipers work fine.( will need new blades) Brake lights all work properly. Cruise Control delete Rear window defrost works fine. Missing rear factory speaker covers. Tilt wheel works fineSpot light is not functional due to police snipped power wire.Vehicle is equipped with power windows, the front windows sometimes have trouble rolling down but go up with no issues, rear driver side window goes up and down with ease, passenger rear window does not roll up or down. Horn works. Power mirrors work fine. Automatic headlight relay works fine. Hazard flasher works fine. Dash clock works fine. Power trunk release works fine. Switches for interior lights to come on when door opens were removed by Police Department for Officer safety. All interior lights work fine and can be turned on with headlight switch. All headlights, turn signals and other electrical components not all ready mentioned are working properly. VEHICLE MECHANICAL CONDITION This Ford Crown Victoria is equipped with the H.O. 5.0L/302cu. V8 engine with fuel injection and automatic overdrive transmission. Vehicle runs excellent, the engine purrs, I mean growls! Car hauls Booty! Vehicle just had a recent tune up all its fluids changed. Engine Compartment is stock and clean. Transmission shifts smoothly. one muffler needs to be welded back up, due to this the car is a bit loud but V8 sounds amazing! Just ask! The vehicle can be stored free of charge for up to two weeks after full payment has been received. A $20.00 a day storage fee will be charged there after the two free weeks are up, until vehicle is picked up. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 dollars must be received by me within 24 hours of close of auction via money order, cashiers check sent over overnight express mail only, if you wish to pay the deposit via Pay Pal a $20 fee will be added to the total of the vehicle to cover Pay Pal fees! You must also make contact with me within the 24 hours close of auction. If the deposit does not arrive within the 24 hours close of auction or no contact is made, the purchaser has forfeited the purchase of my vehicle, by not following the terms and conditions of this auction and the vehicle will be relisted!
