Consignment sale. 1972 Datsun 510 2 door. $3000 firm. Owner will not take less than that. Shipping of car is buyer's responsibility. Of course, local pick up is not a problem. Information below provided by the owner. I've inspected the car myself. Body panels look pretty good. Minor rust in some places. I ran a magnet over all the panels to look for bondo. See pics. Some pretty good rot starting in the driver's side floorboard. The only dent that I can see is the left front quarter panel. Faceplate for the sound system is missing. Car is full operational and yes it does currently run. Disc brake front, drum rear. 1972 datsun 510 2 door. Originally an scca/itc track car. (Dont have log book from track hours). Car has been made street legal with all work lights/ blinkers. Original L16 engine was rebuilt(approx. 30k ago) and slightly modified by previous owner who raced it. Camshaft has a little lope to it. Head has been milled down. Single carb. Modern distributer/ignition system. I dont have any other specs or specifics on engine. Dog leg 5spd tranny. Long tube header. Straight pipe exhaust. Locked rear end with lower gears.(dont know ratio) adj coilovers up front. Eibach lowering spring in rear. Roll cage. Tach/oil press/temp gauges. Cnc hydraulic hand brake is installed but doesn't work right. Might need some type of pressure assist. Toyo proxie ra1 tires. (60% tread). I have never raced the car myself. Only street use. Door skins are included as well as new windshield gasket.
