1961 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible The car has a completely rebuilt, numbers matching 389 engine with 600 miles on rebuilt engine and components. Original 3-speed automatic transmission. The car was converted to alternator at some point before I got it, but used factory mounts. I bought the car a year ago from the individual who had owned it since 1962. It was garaged its whole life.Car is all original with the following new components: new carpet, new top (with boot), all new brakes, hoses, wheel cylinders, etc. New tires, new trunk mat, new fuel tank. All new exhaust. Original leather seats have been repaired and are presentable. Car is in great shape. It runs and drives excellently. The paint is driver-quality, but does have minor chips. The vehicle could use small rust repair on lower rocker panels and passenger side door. Rust is minor and is very easily fixable when paint job gets done. Body is very straight and sound and floor boards and trunk (where they normally rust out) are all solid. Chrome pieces are all in presentable shape. Stainless trim is in good shape. The car comes with factory jack and spare tire. Options are: electric convertible top, power brakes, power steering, a.m. radio. It has aftermarket oil-pressure gauge, but is the correct one for the age of the car. Everything works on the car except the clock. This is a great car for someone who wants to take it to the next level OR someone who just wants a nice looking car to drive around.
