This 78 Volkswagon has been restored and is in very good condition. The interior is very good, although some wear on the carpet under the foot pedals. It has been repainted and paint is in great shape. There is some minor surface rust on underside of bumpers. The underside and floor boards are very solid. It also has air shocks. Tires are not new but still very good. Cloth top is in Very good Condition (No Rips or tears) w/Glass Rear Window. Heater works good. The 1600 engine runs very strong and uses no oil. It has been switched from Fuel Injection to Carburator Weber 32/36 Progresive which is new. The engine has numerous chrome parts on and around it. The odometer shows 71000 miles. This is believed to be correct. It has a Kenwwod AM/FM Radio w/CD Player in Dash. Has four speakers, 2 of them are large SONY behind back seat. We have owned this VW for a little over a year, driven a little over 1000 miles, and decided to sell it and get a VW Vanagon Camper If I were the winning bidder, I would not be afraid to drive it to anywhere.
