Offered is my 1983 Plymouth Scamp GT. It was manufactured 10/83, one of less than 300 GTs built. The 2 year production run was about 3300. I bought this truck in July 1984 and it still driven regularly with current tags and NC Inspection. AC works, the paint was done last year. The interior is usable, but the seats need to be recovered. The better after-market carpet is vvery good. Minor rust in floors has been coated with POR15 and is stopped. Radio AM/FM/CD doesn't work. The engine , transmission, brakes and all other mechanical parts, including wiring harnesses are from a 1986 Dodge Omni GLH, FI, Turbo. The swap was professionally done in 1991 and looks factory done. Has performed perfectly for 22 years. Wheels are 15", five lugs, Falkan radials about 50%. The only mechanical issue is a vacuum leak that I haven't yet been able to find, but I'm still looking. It has caused some performance problems. I am 69 years old and am no longer able to maintain the truck as I would like, so it needs a new home and TLC. Since ther are no others like it recently listed anywhere, how would one price such a rare vehicle, especially with the modifications I have made? I beleive a reasonable price is $2995.00, but I will entertain other serious offers, but if we are too far apart, please don't waste out time, yours or mine.
