NO RESERVE!!! I have decided to sell my 1982 Dodge D350 RARE Crew Cab 2wd 1 Ton Pickup. It is a super cool factory crew cab short bed truck. Everywhere i take it, it gets lots of attention, most people thing it's a one offcusto truck, they can't believe it's a factory crew cab pickup. It has it's original 360 V8 backed by the 727 automatic transmission. The truck was a 1 owner truck when i bought it in 2010. Let me start off by saying this is not a project, it is a daily driver type truck that i would not hesitate to jump in and drive anywhere. In fact when i bought the truck 2 years ago, the truck was delivered to me by the seller over 1700 miles ONE WAY. averaged 13 mpg and ran flawlessly. I had the color changed from maroon to the newer 2005 dodge blue metallic. It is base clear and is nice driver quality. Not a show truck but it's nice. The jambs were painted blue as well as the roof inside the cab. The body is straight and has no rust. The frame is nice as well. The interior was all redone. I put bedliner on the floor and added ram floor mats on top. The door panels were repainted. I swapped the bench seat out for ramcharger buckets with center console and had them professionally recovered at a cost of almost $1000. The rear seat is the original bench recovered. All gauges work, all dash lights, wipers, blinkers, etc all work. The only thing on this truck that does not work is the odometer. It quit working right as it rolled to 47000 miles. The previous owner told me this happened a few years ago so original mileage is unknown now. Even the a/c worked 2 summers ago after a charge. The last time i drove it before this winter it did not feel as cold as it did so it may need charged again. I put on newer 03+ dodge ram wheels and tires, with $300 billet adapters for the offset difference. The tires are like new, wheels are chromed steel wheels. It runs and drives excellent. Would make a sweet tow rig for your classic car, and it will literally tow anything you throw at it. I will include the heavy duty hitch on rear of truck. The engine bay is pretty much original, i did not do anything to it. It ran and drove so good, i didn't want to mess anything up. The truck still has it's option sheet in the glovebox showing things like A/C, 4.10 rear gears, etc. Speaking of the 4.10 gears, it is great for towing, but if you take it on a long trip, don't expect to cruise at 80 mph. The tall gears, for example, make the truck buzz at around 2700 rpm at 60 mph. The bed has been lined with 3 coats of bedliner and should last forever. Original AM/FM radio still works. Aftermarket tach on column works. I swapped out the bumpers for later ramcharger chrome bumpers and they are nice, straight, and still quite shiny. Grill is nice too. The ONLY reason i'm selling is i found a 77 crew cab 4x4 i want to build, and it would be silly to build 2 crew cab trucks. These trucks are quite rare and i have spent a lot of time and money on his one to make it a nice dependable truck. If you want one of a kind, this is it. The last pic at the bottom is a picture of what it looked like when i bought it. NOTE: The driver's back door in the pics have a vertical "line".. This "line" is only a shadow from a basketball goal, it is all the same consistent blue color throughout the truck... If you want the topper/tonneau cover, you're welcome to it. I reserve the right to end this auction early at any time for any reason, as truck is for sale locally. Thanks for looking and good luck. Please ask with any questions. SELLING at FAR less than i put into this truck, please serious bidders only.
