Here is my 1962 Ford F100 short wide bed running driving project truck. The truck was just as it is when I purchased it from the previous owner. A 62 Short wide bed that is not a Unibody. Frame has not been cut, front original solid axle suspension, Big block v8 that sounds great through dual flowmaster mufflers exiting at the front of each rear wheel. The truck runs really good, and the trans shifts through the gears just right. It is an auto transmission with a b&m floor shifter. The breaks pull pretty good to the right and will need adjusted. This is still a running driving project truck. I just drove it this week and it did just fine after it warmed up in the 35 degree morning weather. The body is in pretty dang good shape. The only rust through that I have found is on the very front tip of the hood, a pea sized hole. And the other is a very small spot on the floor board. Very solid. Also, at one time someone cut an opening in the back of the cab and bed so they could instal a passthrough subwoofer box. Stupid for sure. Both panels are still with the truck for someone to tack back in. the bed is nice and solid. The paint on the other hand is not very good. It has been primed at one time and not prepped very well I suspect. The patina is pretty cool though just like it is. It is exactly what a lot of builders are trying to get. I decided to let this one go right now, I am currently building a 65 f100 restomod so my attention is going to it. Definently a great start though on a solid truck. Clear texas title! Thank you for looking. I will also help load if shipping is needed. On Feb-14-13 at 10:41:58 PST, seller added the following information: engine is a 352 with the c6 auto transmission. The transmission has a tci polished pan on it. The driveshaft is also new and custom built for the truck by "longhorn trailer" here locally. The previous owner had spent some money on this truck.
