YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1982 VOLVO 240 SEDAN. Thank you for looking at this beautiful BRICK! I will do my best to describe this awesome car to the best of my ability and in all fairness. First, the story behind the car. I bought this car a little over a year ago as the “Car of my dreams” As an old Volvo lover that is. I saw the car and could not believe how solid and clean the body and interior was. That same week the motor locked up! My Volvo man told me the motor had been neglected by the owner and the oil in it was as black as a “Black Angus Cow” looking to have never been changed. I could not believe it! To make a long story short I bought a Donor 2.1 Liter 4cyl engine out of another 1982/240 sedan. I also had the car totally re-wired from ground up. Now, to the car and what she is. As you can see in the pics, it is in GREAT condition. The new/used 2.1 Liter engine has 131,000 miles on it. Odo in the car shows 186,xxx. Everything on the car works. A/C is nice and cold as I also had a NEW pump installed. Heat is very warm, HOT is a better way to put it! Transmission shifts very smooth, and overdrive works great as well! The interior has no flaws and all of the padding in the seats is still very good. Original Volvo radio works GREAT and picks up well. Full Disclosure- There are a few nicks in the paint that you can’t see in the pics. However nothing major at all and it has to be pointed out to see it. It needs as dash pad cover. $99.00 IPD. No rust on the at all! I have the car for sale locally as well on my friends car lot. If you buy it you will have to buy it through his lot as I have signed the title over to the dealer. HOWEVER, THE WINNING BID BUYS IT NO CAR LOT FEES WILL BE ADDED. THE PRICE YOU BID IS THE PRICE OF THE CAR! I have to sell it this way since I signed the title over to the car lot to sell it. Also, I reserve the right to end the auction it sells locally. THE BEST- It may not mean much to you depending on where you live. But, The motor has a 1 year warranty from Ramsey Volvo in Drexel N.C. How many 1982 cars can you buy with a 1 year motor warranty? This is transferable to the buyer. They will honor it as I have checked with then. I am including pics of receipts from where I had over $2,000.00 of work done on the car in the last year. Hope you can make them out.
