Vehicle Detail
This was my father's 1964 Ford Truck. He purchased the truck in 1967, and owned it until his death. This truck has a 292 V8, with a Warner T98 4 speed manual transmission with the ultra low first gear. I have the original 223 I6 engine (rebuildable-not seized) and 3 spd. manual transmission that came original in the truck and they will be included in this sale. The truck is in very good condition considering it's age. The truck has manual steering and manual brakes. It has been "pickled" and stored inside a temperature controlled shop and not driven for about 25 years. The only rust in the truck is on the tailgate as shown in the pictures. Bed, floorpans, etc. is all solid. (Bed has some surface rust...) Again, the truck was stored inside virtually it's whole life. We took it out of it's storage area, and it is now running and driving fine, and everything works including the air conditioning. (The air conditioning is an add-on system with a York compressor.) I also have the "Custom" series brushed aluminum dash panel that was on the upgraded model. I am selling this for my mother. All shipping/pickup will need to handled by the buyer. $500 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of auction close required, with any balance due via Paypal, commercial/cashiers check, or wire transfer within 5 calendar days of auction close. Truck pickup date is negotiable, but I would like to see picked up no longer than 30 days after the end of the auction. On Feb-11-13 at 08:00:29 PST, seller added the following information: I am having trouble locating the original 3-speed transmission-it's not where I thought it was so I may not have it. I do have the 223<>3-speed bell housing. I do have the 223 I6 engine, and another bell housing that I believe will connect the 223 I6 to the existing Warner T98 4-speed. I apologize for the mistake, my father had alot of stuff.
