The car was restored in the 90s and is still super nice today. The car was used primarily as a showpiece and driven rarely. I have an old Tn yellow title on the car as well as a registation from 68 and an original owners manual. The exterior is very straight and rust free as is the undercarraige. The body panels line up well with the doors shutting easy as well as the hood and trunk. The windows line up very nice and roll down effortlessly. The paint is base/clear and shows well, the car is not chipped up or scratched up. The only pick on the paint are two little pencil eraser sized bubbles in the drivers lower door. All of the chrome and britework was restored or replaced in the build. The passengers front fender piece looks to have been straightened and the top grille bar is not as brillaint as it should be. Under the hood the cars original 235 inline 6 remains. We know its the original engine because very frequently GM used the engine number on the title depending on the plant the car was built in. This car has the engine number on the title and it matches. The car retains its original 3 speed column shifted transmission and well. This one is a great driver! On the inside the car is a beauty! Red and white original interior is hard to beat! The interior is superb everywhere you look! The car has all of its rubber seals replaced in the build, the glass is all very nice in the car with the exception of some delamination in the lower edge of the rear quarter glasses.
