EARLY PRODUCTION 1964 1/2 289 V-8 4 SPEED CONSOLE 3 OWNER CONVERTIBLE.I am the third owner of this car. It originated in Arizona, and was later shipped to Hawaii. The second owner of this car, for over 30 years, went through great pains to keep this car rust free. Always garaged and babied. His plan was to keep this car in the family for generations. Almost fanatical care was taken with this car. I have a storage locker full of the original parts that have been replaced over the years. The car is on its' third radiator. I have the two originals in their boxes. I have the original seat covers, brake shoes, window regulators, emblems, door sill mouldings etc. etc. this man saved everythingIMatching number original 289 V-8 4 bbl carb. with original carb tag still present. Entire drive train is original. Has not been rebuilt or replaced. Nice shifting 4 speed manual trans. Yes 4 speed not 3 speed. Original console and radio. Power steering! I have the original steel wheels and spinner hub caps in storage. sport wheels and tires on it now.The only thing I did to this car was have it professionally painted, and I put nice retro rims on it. The top was replaced with a super high quality new top with folding GLASS rear window. The color is a three stage 2010 Lexus red. Many say I should have left it fire engine red, but this looks much better, and since I was paying for it, I wanted it this color. A purest or collector can always return it to origianl red.The ONLY thing that does not currently work is the fuel guage. Worked last month, but now it does not, Just saying. Runs awsome, you can jump in and drive cross country!The only reason I am selling it, is that I have two teens headed off to college, and I am trying to allocate the money for that.I can ship this car anywhere in the WORLD. I have already shipped cars to Tokyo Japan, Austrailia, and New Zealand. I can help with US Customs, and shipping logistics, as I have much experience with this.
