Vehicle Detail

This would be a great addition to any collection, or a terriffic entry level classic car! I was looking for a 'bathtub' Nash when I ran across this beautiful Ambassador! It is so nice, I just had to buy it. I've had my fun for a couple years, but want to resume my quest for a "Tub" to go with my '52 Rambler. But, the tub has to be as nice as this '54. That won't be easy! This Nash drive great! Front end , brakes, suspensin - all in tip-top shape. She does not smoke, and the engine does not have any unusual noises. If you know Nash's, you already know that the Ambassador has a 7 main bearing 6-cylinder that is just bullett-proof! She just glides around town quietly and with grace. The body is lazer straight! I have NOT found ANY rust on the body. I cannot even find where rust or damage has ever been on the body of this car. I know pictures lie, but this car REALLY does look as good in person as the pictures show. If you have anyone in the area, please feel free to have them drop by and look at the car before you consider buying it. This is the nicest Nash I have seen in Texas. Not perfect, no old car is, but very well worth the money! I just spent over $10K on a '55 Cadillac on paint and upholstry alone! That's more than I want for this whole car! Issues that I am aware of...the fuel guage works when it wants to, haven't got the OD to engage, the radio "hums", and the overriders on the rear bumper should be replated.(see pic). I drive her regurlarly, and have never had any problems with overheating, even in 100 degree Texas summers. But then again, Nash's are not known for heat problems. The interior was probably redone when the car was painted. It is just a nice, simple , clean. Whoever painted this car was a master! The paint work is amazing !!! Maybe not 100 point, but over 90 for sure. Again, wish you could see it before you buy. I wasn't disappointed, and wouldn't want you to be, either. If you would like to know anything else, I will be happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking!
