This Roadrunner is in show condition, It was never driven on the road for any length of time, It was one of several taken from the midwest ( Chicago) To be a promotional Roadrunner Drag Racer, right from the dealer floor, It was originally set up and run with a 426 Hemi, And was on billboards for the Plymouth Dealership in Chicago. The Tilt front end is all Fiberglass, the body firewall back is all original steel and lazer straight mint. Paint is high gloss Viper Red. The Engine is now a built 440, not raced yet, just stored.It was designed by Plymouth to be a drag racer so there are no wipers, or side windows, but I have the window parts along with the original dash in storage. This Roadrunner is basically very rare and in perfect condition both mechanically and cosmetically. A historical car, It was called the HEMI BIRD when plymouth built it to race. (just before the Superbirds came out) originally it was silver with a full sized roadrunner decaled on each side, with the rear wheel well as the roadrunner's spinning legs. It was the billboard car in the Chicago area to promote the plymouth racing program in 1969.
