Hello, This 1956 Mercury has been stored for over 35 years in a garage, Where I found it at an Estate Sale, it took me all day long to get it out from all the things the owner had stacked around it. When I opened the front door I saw the original keys were still in the ignition, I asked the Woman having the Estate Sale was the mileage original miles, she said yes. I would like everyone viewing the Listing to see all the Pictures to see the condition of everything. There is NO Rust Holes anywhere on the car, The Headliner looks near new condition, the original rugs are all intact, all the guages and radio are all there. and the only dent in the car is back by the passenger side rear door and its very minor, easy fix for a body man. If you wanted a 56 Merc to restore then this is it, FOr Sure. The first thing I did was have the gas tank cleaned and it looked new inside, I put a new Fuel Pump and Rebuilt the Carburator, and put a Battery in it and turned the key and it started right up and Man you should hear the dual exhaust sound, Smile. Really the only thing you need to do to drive this car down the highway as is check the brakes they work but are a little spungy. Anyway Give me a call at 1(530)938-4232 anytime, my name is Alan.
