Offered for bid at No Reserve, is my 1988 Toyota Pickup Shortbed 4x4. This is one of the NICEST untouched Toyota 4x4's you will find. It has the famous 22r 4 cylinder that runs great! Our family purchased it from the original owners and it has only logged 137k ORIGINAL MILES since new averaging (Only 5500 miles per year) When Mr. Sims ordered this truck brand new, at a Southern California Toyota Dealership it was special ordered with factory Air Conditioning, which is a rare option if you have been searching. Please check the Auto Check report and you will see it has a PERFECT AUTOCHECK SCORE. This truck still wears 100% of its ORIGINAL PAINT. Just PASSED California Emissions test with FLYING COLORS. 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 1989, 1990, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89 This 1988 Toyota pickup truck is absolutely AWESOME. From the moment you jump in it, start it up, and drive it, you instantly know you are driving a very LOW MILLAGE 1988 Toyota 4x4. I still have all the original books and manuals, and it still has its original 4x4 operating instructions on the visor of the truck along with the original factory sticker on the glove box when new. Shortly after it was new, Mr. Sims added aftermarket chrome 15x10.5x15 wheels wrapped in 31” all terrain tires; this gives the truck an AWESOME APPEARANCE. It was also ordered with the chrome package both front and rear bumpers are factory chrome. It’s a pleasure driving on those hot sunny days with the air conditioning or just having the option of opening the sliding rear window. It also has the optional tow package (never been used), and a bed liner was added several years ago to help protect the bed. This 1988 Toyota 4x4 is a clean stock example that many of us dreamed of owning when new. This one has always been garaged, never been hit, never in salt or snow, and always a dry California truck. It has been impeccably taken care of from day one. It runs and drives great and averages over 20mpg easy! This one has the reliable 22r EFI 4cyclinder engine with a 5 speed manual transmission, it runs and performs great! It recently had the timing chain and oil pump replaced by the original owners. My retired Toyota mechanic did a complete inspection including a tune-up and changed all the fluids. THIS IS ONE OF THE CLEANEST VINTAGE 1988 TOYOTA 4X4'S YOU MAY FIND. We have had many compliments while driving it, people can’t believe the condition after 25 years. ORIGINAL PAINT is the BEST in my opinion for long-term value and blue chip investment, so there are no hidden surprises here. The interior is also in very good condition for its age. If you have been searching, you know how difficult they are to find in this condition. This 1988 Toyota 4x4 is alot of fun to drive. With a growing family, I recently purchased an extra cab for the kids so it sadly it has to be sold. Everything works on the truck with the exception of the stereo; and the air conditioning may need re-charging, and a small split in the seat, and that’s it.
