Thank you for your cooperation. ******************************************************************************************** Offered is a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS, 5.3 liter V8 engine, 4x4. This Suburban has 167,633 miles and is being sold, as is, with no reserve so we do not have to re-list. This vehicle is being auctioned by the Woodridge Illinois Police Department. The history of this vehicle is unknown as it was seized in an arrest that occurred on February 26, 2012. Following the arrest this Suburban was stored indoors. It was awarded to the Woodridge Police on October 5, 2012 by court order and we hold clear title. We will attempt to describe this vehicle to the best of our ability and you may inspect the vehicle, in person, by appointment. The body/paint appear to be in good condition without any significant dents, scratches or rust (see photos). The driver’s door handle does not return when pulled out to open the driver’s door. The tires appear to all have a fair amount of tread. The interior is dirty and the carpet is in need of cleaning. Some of the radio control and dashboard display lights do not work. The blower motor does not work on setting #5 and there is possible water noise from the dashboard when driving. See photos. Before a brief test drive, the Suburban had to be jump started with a commercial jump-pack because standard jumper cables would not start the Suburban. Once started, the Suburban accelerated and stopped as expected for a vehicle of this age/mileage. There is an intermittent ticking noise that is coming from the engine and the suspension may need servicing. It is suggested that the buyer have this vehicle inspected/serviced by a qualified mechanic before use. Other than these stated observations we have no further information regarding this vehicle’s history. We always disclose everything we know about our vehicles, but again, these vehicles have an unknown prior history and are NOT inspected by us prior to auction. The NADA listed value for this 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS is $7,675 for "Rough Trade-In", $9,000 for "Average Trade-In" and $10,075 for "Clean Trade-In".
