This vehicle is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY! The vehicle was seized by the Frederick County (MD) Narcotics Task Force in July of 2011 and is being auctioned per policy. There is no "Buy it Now" price because the seized vehicles must be sold auction style. The vehicle was garage kept for a period of time during the "impounding" until it was moved to an open impound lot a few months ago. At the time of the seizure, the vehicle was being operated and appeared to run fine. The battery is dead from not being used for over a year. Something is wrong with the power steering - it has fluid and isnt leaking but it is difficult to turn the truck. Everything else is believed to work fine. HOWEVER, we are cops, not mechanics so if you would like to look at this, please let us know and you can bring your mechanic. The vehicle is a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab ST/SLT four wheel drive pickup truck with an 8' bed. It has tan cloth seats, automatic windows, automatic seats and automatic door locks along with auto mirror adjustments and cruise control. The back seat folds up for easy access storage and a heavy duty plastic tray folds out for those "muddy" days. Other amenities include: running boards on both the driver side and passenger side, dual foldaway cup holders, visors with mirrors, digital odometer, Line X bed liner in the bed of the truck, a cover for the top of the bed which locks into place or rolls back to expose the bed, tow hitch with trailer package and an after market radio that is a Pioneer Super Tuner III (CD player, MP3 player and satellite ready). It folds into the dash when not in use. The original radio is with the truck as well. The rims on the vehicle are Dodge Stock rims. The tires are "Buckshot Maxxis Mudders" (LT305 / 70R 17). The main obvious damage to the vehicle is on the tailgate where there are several dents and scratches. The pictures show the damage. There is also a small dent/scratch on the passenger side behind the second door near the beginning of the truck bed. There are pictures of both included with the listing. The vehicle has no lien and is currently titled to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
