This beautiful street rod is basically an older restoration with some fresh updates. It's an all steel car, including the fenders, and within the last year the owner has installed a rebuilt 350 engine (about 1000 miles), all new 3' stainless exhaust with Flowmasters, new E-Z wiring, a Lokar Shifter, all new leather upholstery (including the headliner), new carpet, Dynamat throughout and more. The owner is one of those guys who likes to buy a car (bike, boat, whatever) fix it up, enjoy it for a bit, and then move on to the next project. He's had this one for a couple of years now, he drove it about a dozen times and now he's on to the next toy. I can provide you with his phone number if you'd like to talk with him directly about the car, otherwise, here's what I can see: The paint is older, in fair condition and has some chips here and there. Good for a daily driver. Some chrome looks great, even up close (like the bumpers) but a lot of the chrome is showing its age when you look at it closely. The body looks solid, no signs of rust or major damage repair. Doors open and close very well, as do all 4 windows (driver window is cracked). Starts up great when it's cold, runs well but it needs a little time to warm up. The speedometer is not connected and the fuel gauge does not work. It sounds great and has a lot of power, the brakes and steering feel good. The transmission appears to be leaking a little, maybe from the plug. It has a "kill" switch with a removable key hidden under the drivers seat for added security. It's comfortable to drive and it gets a LOT of attention. The hood is not pictured but it is included. An original, un-restored trunk also comes with the car. The license plates are registered to the vehicle as personalized plates and can be transferred if the buyer is here in California. The car can be seen here in Fresno, California by appointment anytime. This is a great car for the person who wants something that's not so perfect and clean that you're afraid to take it out. This is one you can actually DRIVE and enjoy while doing little things to fix it up. It's perfect to take the whole family out cruising on a Saturday night or out for the day at the car show.
