Here is a 1978 280Z Scarab type recently painted a beautiful polurethane tangerine. Car is virtually rust free. It has a rebuilt Chevrolet 350 with less than 100 miles mated with a 700R4 transmission. Engine and transmission work smoothly. Mileage is 89000 on the chassis..Body includes a cowl induction hood, street scene air dam, Jim Cook whale tail,and headlight covers. Engine has ceramic coated body hugger headers and a MSD ignition box. It also has a 4 core custom V8 Z conversion radiator.Motor and tranny mounts and drive shaft are from JTR racing and the Z shoppe. The car was built by a race car co. in Atlanta and was done very cleanly and correctly. It handles very well. The Wheels are from centerline and the tires are nearly new.The front and rear suspensions were rebuilt and all bushings were replaced. A set of lowering springs come with the car but not installed.The rear end was replaced with with a newer ZX one with a 373 gear.The car runs off a mechanical fuel pump but a electric one was installed for future modifications if needed. All lights,turn signals and wipers work. Interior has new carpet and leather seats from Katz and a factory leather steering wheel. There are front and rear tower strut braces and custom fuel cell in the hatch vented to the undercarriage. The exhaust is custom built from the ceramic coated headers to the four bologna cut exhaust tips protruding from the rear valance. Magnaflow mufflers are installed. Car sounds throaty,not obnoxious. New Rochestor 4bbl carb was installed. Dash is cracked. I promise you will not be dissapointed in this car. Body is near perfect engine and tranny run great. Never overheats. I had this car shipped from Atlanta and the car transport driver told me I had all kinds of trouble delivering this car. I asked why and he said everywhere he went people stopped him so they could take a picture of it! 10,000 invested.
