Vehicle Detail
This is a straight, very clean rust-free rare Jade color Town Coupe. It has only 33,600 original miles. It wears its original paint, top, chrome, interior etc. It has a crack in the upper part of the windshield and some other small body dents etc The car starts and runs and drives wonderfully! This car can be driven anywhere. The brakes and tires are excellent. It is not perfect however and that's why the low price. The body has dimples, scratches minor door dents. The beautiful cast aluminum wheels shine like mirrors. AM-FM 8-track has just been restored. With a new paint job and soe interior work, this car could easily be competitive in shows and a multiple time LCOC Judge, I'm famaliar with show cars. I live near Chicago and could deliver the car is close. Why am I selling the car at all? I just found a 1970 Coupe that I'd rather have since I already have another '77 Town Coupe. My phone is 847-997-9944. Besides all the pictures here, I have 70 additional pictures at http://s191.beta.photobucket.com/user/John_Mc_photos/library/#/user/John_Mc_photos/library/1977%20Jade%20Town%20Coupe?&_suid=1358722641574023159807402695243 These Jade cars are pretty rare and are quite a site. Please call me at anytime with questions. I'm open to offers on this car and I've had several last week, but just not quite high enough to buy the car. if you look at other Lincolns of this vintage on the market, you'll see this is a very nice value. Please note the car will come with an Ilinois title in my name, but it will be marked as "Rebuilt". The reason is that it was stolen years ago and the thieves removed the door sticker (I've ordered a replacement) and was considered as a total by the insurance carrier. It has never been in a flood, it has never been wrecked. This is the sole reason for this type of title. Yes, one could "wash" the title through other states but I'd rather tell it like it is. It can and is currently licensed, just like a regular title. It has has been inspected and approved by the Missouri State Patrol. Feel free to have an expert body man to come and inspect the car to confirm this fact. It starts, runs and drives like a 33,000 mile car. I just bought a 1970 Lincoln so I need to sell this car quickly - hense the low selling price. I don't have room for both of these cars. Make me a reasonable offer and the car will be yours! 1/25/13 Found out yesterday from the state, I will have the new title very shortly, probably by this Monday. Also the restored radio has been reinstalled. REMEMBER, I WILL ACCEPT ANY REASONABLE OFFER ON THIS CAR, I HAVE TO MOVE IT. . Good luck!
